Private engineering colleges in India became a prime shop where all the customers (students) are cheated. All the private colleges are taking a huge fee and provides poor quality education. This, in turn, leads to no job from campus. They are left to roam in mega cities like Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi to knock the doors in search of jobs. More than 50% of students are cheated by private engineering colleges. They trap students by writing false information about placement percentage and highest package. OIST takes admission in many ways:
- Through MP counseling: Candidates have to fill the MP counseling form for their stream.
- Direct Admission: You can take admission by visiting the college campus.
- Get Admission Through Us & Get Up To 30% discount in the fee.
Placement
Placements of the college are well. The percentage of placement is around 30-40%. This year, TCS hired 206 students (including its first campus)which is the highest in Bhopal. Various companies visit the college for placements every year. About half of the students get placed every year which is higher than other colleges. The placement rate of our college is far better than other colleges.
- Most companies visit for business profile job with the highest package of 9 LPA.
- Some major IT companies visit for CS/IT with 3LPA.
- Some companies visit for other core branches, but especially for ECE.
- Most companies visit for BPO/KPO/voiceover and so on.
Infrastructure
The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Smart class facilities are also available. The college library many has the books related to the courses offered in the college. Sports and games facilities are provided just for namesake because we never get time to have fun. The college has a huge computer lab with LAN connections. The canteen is average. Not many varieties are provided, but the food is hygienic.
Faculty
All the teachers are knowledgeable and are very helpful to the students. They help us in industry visiting. They provide us very practical knowledge. There are so many computer labs in which we can learn different types of languages like C+, Java. Also, there are three hostels OGI boys hostels, Gayatri girl hostel, and Gangotri girls hostel. There is a guest house for the parents, in that guest house they provide us all types of facilities.
