- Through clearing the exam conducted by the university.
- Sometimes, you can get admission based on your 12th board score and JEE marks directly.
Admission to some courses in Jiwaji University is granted on the basis of the scores obtained in the Entrance Test conducted by the University. For other courses, admission is granted to the basis of merit.
Once the candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the marks secured in Entrance Test or on merit, they need to undergo a counseling session. The final selection of candidates is done on the same.
Placement
The placement cell of the university is not active in bringing good placement and internship opportunities for the students. The maximum package was around 5-6 Lacs per annum and the company took only 5% of the total students. Only a few companies visited campus like IBM and Accenture. They are offering roles for an accountant, sales analyst, and associate assurance.
Infrastructure
The infrastructure of our college is good as compared to other colleges in Gwalior. There are spacious classrooms and sufficient labs so that the students can practice their theoretical knowledge but there are very few equipment available there and some of them are broken which is very problematic for the students. In the library, the books are in the worst condition and many course books are not even kept there. There is a good facility of Wi-Fi on the campus and the canteen food is also good but the canteen is not so spacious. There is no hostel facility provided by our university.
Faculty
The teaching staff of this college is very impressive. They are very dedicated to their profession and are highly qualified from well-known universities. They are always ready to help the students in their problems, but they mostly use classroom teaching as their teaching method instead of taking students to industrial visits. That’s why students don’t get industrial exposure which is very important for their overall academic development.
