IIT DELHI is one of the oldest government engineering colleges in India. It is deemed university. It was established in 1961. IIT DELHI is one of the renowned colleges in India. It is one of the 16 IIT’s which takes cream students and produce better engineering who is serving as CEO of various MNC’s.

Sometimes ranking might fluctuate due to highest package or number of placements. To provide education and research facilities in engineering and technology. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admissions to IIT DELHI’s BTech programmes, candidates must comply with the eligibility criteria for JEE Main and JEE Advanced which includes various criterions like the candidate’s performance in JEE Main, age limit, number of attempts, appearance in Class XII.

Admission Process

Firstly, aspirants need to qualify JEE Main. Top 2.4 lakh students who clear JEE Main will be eligible for JEE Advanced. If aspirants clear the first stage i.e. JEE Main, they need to appear for JEE Advanced. Admissions will be based on the rank acquired in JEE Advanced. After JEE Advanced results are declared, students need to appear for JoSAA online counseling.

Placement

Almost 80% of students get placed every year. The highest packages went up to 2 crores per annum, and the average salary package is around 8 LPA. Students get placed in almost every field like core, consultancies, management, finance, and even R&D. Although students of our college are mostly research-oriented, and students had internships during their courses. All of these matters are handled by the training and placements cell, and it guides the students with the possibilities in the future.

Infrastructure

The college provides good facilities, and they are sufficient to create a good studious environment. The college needs to improve in some aspects like food and hostels, but the college provides enough infrastructural facilities for a student to explore and develop skills.

The infrastructure of our college is better than most of the colleges. It is improving day by day. The lecture hall complex is one of the best places for lectures. New labs are under construction now. Hostels are decent, but it can be a little better.

Faculty

All the faculty members are qualified with PhDs and are involved in some research projects. Teaching methods are up to date, and the courses are relevant to the current scenario. The course curriculum has an industry day so that the faculty members organize an industry visit which gives proper exposure to the conditions of the industry.
