Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admissions to IIT Bombay’s BTech programmes, candidates must comply with the eligibility criteria for JEE Main and JEE Advanced which includes various criterions like the candidate’s performance in JEE Main, age limit, number of attempts, appearance in Class XII.

Admission Process

Placement

Overall, the placements are good with more than 80% of the students getting placed. The average salary package offered last year is around 16 LPA and students got more than 75 international offers last year. Many well-reputed companies visit the campus for placements. A proper placement cell is available to enable the smooth functioning of the placements. Good summer and winter internships are offered by reputed companies. Also, the highest package of this college is in crores (More than 1 crore).

Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is well-established with state of the art classrooms that are equipped with projectors and speakers. There is a fully equipped and centrally air-conditioned library to meet the academic requirements of the students. High-speed Wi-Fi is available all across the campus. There are well-established hostels along with our own sports room, music room, and playgrounds. There are well-equipped labs with all the required instruments and apparatus. There is a fully functioning hospital to cater to the medical needs of the students.

Faculty

Teachers are highly qualified and have in-depth knowledge of their relevant course. Slides are used to teach in classes, although some teachers prefer blackboard and chalk. Industry exposure is provided right from the second year of the course. Teaching quality is also good, but the course becomes very tough if there is no self-study. The curriculum is vast and tough, and students need to study hard to cope well.
